Grass Valley have produced some great special offers, available until the end of July.
1. Full version of EDIUS for £299+VAT. 
Normally EDIUS is £560 but for the 1½ months it is at the amazing price of £299.  This includes all the third party software such as ProDad Mercalli 2, Vitascene and the NewBlue Effects.
2. HDSPARK - £229 with no software or £499 with EDIUS
The HDSPARK give you HDMI output from EDIUS - with the right screen this lets you view HD and SD pictures "properly" rather than just using your graphic card.  These represent about £100 off the normal price.  We have been doing our own HDSPARK special with EDIUS for the last couple of months anyway but now can do cheap HDSPARKS with not software as well!

On top of this Grass Valley have also introduced a new network storage system - EDIUS WORKSTATION STORAGE.  This will allow you to connect up to 6 computer to a central storage unit, where you will store all of your media.  It comes with Grass Valley's own media storage software for organising the clips.  We are hoping to get a until into test as soon as possible.
