PCIe capture for 3G-SDI and HDMI
This card is simple. It gives you HDMI and SDI output from your chosen editing program, or using Blackmagic Media Express. The cheapest card with SDI output available.
As this card only had HDMI or SDI then there are no analogue connections. If you need analogue then you may want to consider Blackmagic Intensity Pro which has composite, component and SVIDEO inputs and outputs as well as HDMI, although it does not have SDI.
Audio ONLY through HDMI or SDI
This card has no analogue audio connections. When in an editing program many will only output audio and video through the same device - so the audio will only be out through HDMI or SDI and cannot be switched to use any other audio output on your system. To hear the sound when editing you will need to listen to the output from your TV or monitor, or route the HDMI through an amplifier before it goes to the TV. Even with a program like Adobe Premiere Pro which will let you watch the picture through the Mini Monitor, whilst listening to the sound from your sound card, you ideally want the sound playing through the Blackmagic card because this will give better sound sync than using a different device. If you need analogue sound outputs buy theBlackmagic Intensity Pro or Decklink Studio 4K.
